Book and complete your questionnaire
Choose your tier and book online. You will receive a detailed diet and lifestyle questionnaire to complete ahead of your appointment.

Get your DEXA scan
You will be referred to a scanning provider near you. The scan takes around 10 to 15 minutes and is completely non-invasive.

Your consultation with Ashleigh
A 60-minute telehealth session where your results are interpreted in full and your nutrition strategy is built around your data.

Leave with a clear plan
Written summary sent after your session. For the + Progress tier, your follow-up scan is scheduled at the 12 to 16 week mark.
What DEXA measures
Data that changes how you train.
Lean muscle mass by region
Arms, legs, and trunk measured separately. See exactly where you are carrying muscle and where imbalances exist between sides.
Resting metabolic rate
Your true calorie burn at rest, derived from your actual lean mass, not a population formula. This is what your nutrition targets should be built from.
Body fat % - precise, not estimated
Not estimated from skinfolds or bioelectrical impedance. DEXA uses low-dose X-ray to measure fat tissue directly - the most accurate non-invasive method available.
Visceral fat rating
The fat around your organs, relevant for metabolic health regardless of how lean you look on the outside.
Bone mineral density
T-score and Z-score. Useful for athletes, women, and anyone wanting a complete picture of long-term skeletal health.
Why it matters
Most people are eating to a number that was wrong from the start.
Online TDEE calculators use height, weight, and age - population-level estimates with significant individual error. Your actual RMR could be 200 to 400 calories above or below that guess. Over months of training, that difference compounds. DEXA-informed targets eliminate the guesswork entirely.

Yes. The DEXA scan is fully included in your investment. No additional costs for the scan itself. You will be referred to a provider near you and I will coordinate the process.
Where do I get the DEXA scan?
DEXA scanning is available at body composition and radiology clinics around Australia. Once you have booked, I will help coordinate a referral to a provider that works for your location.
Do I need to be a competitive athlete?
Not at all. The Performance Baseline is built for anyone who trains regularly and wants objective data - whether you are a consistent gym-goer, a lifter chasing muscle, or someone who has been training for years and wants smarter nutrition to match.
When does the follow-up scan happen for the + Progress tier?
Your follow-up DEXA is typically scheduled at 12 to 16 weeks after your first scan. This window allows enough time for meaningful body composition changes to show up and makes the comparison genuinely useful.
How is this different from The Body Baseline?
The Performance Baseline is focused purely on body composition and performance nutrition - for fit, training-focused people who want objective data to optimise muscle, fat, and fuelling. The Body Baseline adds comprehensive pathology, hormone and nutrient markers, and a 90-minute consult. Different tools for different goals.
